MIAP (Missing in America Project) locates, identifies and inters cremains of forgotten Veterans. Their main goal is providing honor and respect to those who have served this country by securing a final resting place for these forgotten Heros.
MIAP is respectfully requesting all Veteran groups and Patriot individuals to be part of an interment with honors for 14 indigent and homeless Veterans.
It will be our honor as the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line and honor those Veterans that have gone before us.
DATE: 20 April 2012
STAGING: Adair Funeral Home
1050 N. Dodge Blvd
Tucson, AZ
TIME: 9:00 am
The cremains of the 14 Veterans will be transferred to the hearse at 9:30am.
KSU: 10:15 am Police will lead a motorcycle escort procession from Tucson to Sierra Vista
There will be a stop at RV City on SR-90
BRIEFING: 11:15am
You need to check with MIAP onsite for formation staging.
MIAP personnel will be in black and orange vests
KSU: 12:00 noon
The procession will depart for: Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery
1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail
Sierra Vista, AZ
Honors will begin at 1:00 pm.
